Donghee Choi, Ph.D. (최동희)

Donghee Choi, Ph.D., is a Research Associate at Imperial College London since November 2023, supervised by Joram M. Posma. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Korea University in August 2023, where he was advised by Professor Jaewoo Kang.

He also holds an M.S. in Bioinformatics and a B.S. in Computer Science from Korea University, both supervised by Professor Jaewoo Kang. His research interests span AI, Bioinformatics, and Computational Science, with a focus on applications of AI in gastronomy, human-computer interaction, and knowledge representation.

Donghee has extensive experience in academia and industry. He interned at Sony AI on their Gastronomy AI project, co-founded and worked with startups like LYZE, Konolabs, and Opinion8, and contributed to diverse projects involving AI applications in various domains. He has also published extensively in international conferences and journals, showcasing his contributions to the intersection of AI and real-world problems.
